Venturing is the youth-led, coed program of Scouting America for those 14–20 years old.
Crew 148 is a climbing-focused crew chartered by Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church. We prepare youth to become responsible, participating citizens through high-adventure outdoor activities and challenging real-world projects.

Rock Climbing
Indoor gym sessions at Inner Peaks South End. Build technique, strength, and confidence on the wall.
Outdoor Adventures
Real-rock trips like New River Gorge, WV. Experience the outdoors and push your limits beyond the gym.
Leadership Development
Crew is youth-led. Plan trips, lead peers, and grow into a confident leader through real responsibility.
Rank Advancement
Earn Venturing → Discovery → Pathfinder → Summit through participation, leadership, and adventure.
